Dressing communities with pride
Stitches Uniforms is a Rustenburg-based manufacturer and retailer of quality uniforms, founded by entrepreneur Tebogo Molotsi in partnership with her mother.
Coming from the mining community of Phokeng, Tebogo recognised a gap in the market for a reliable local supplier of school and work uniforms, which inspired her to start the business in 2013. What began as a small family venture has since grown into a thriving enterprise, officially registered in 2018, that now employs 25 people — the majority of whom are women from local communities.
Their core offering includes the manufacture and supply of:
- School uniforms
- Safety clothing for mining and construction
- Uniforms for security and related industries
- Hospitality uniforms
- Sportswear
Stitches Uniforms also offers in-house printing services, including: - Embroidery
- Sublimation
The company’s main focus is on school uniforms, but its product range extends far beyond the classroom. Stitches Uniforms also supplies high-quality garments to various sectors, including mining, construction, security, and hospitality. In addition to uniform manufacturing, the business offers professional branding services through embroidery and dye sublimation, helping organisations present a polished and unified image.
With five retail stores strategically located across Rustenburg’s townships and villages, Stitches Uniforms ensures that its customers can conveniently access affordable, durable and well-made products. The brand has earned the trust of schools, businesses and parents alike through its consistency, attention to detail and commitment to local empowerment.
Looking ahead, Stitches Uniforms are poised for its next phase of expansion. Their future plans include building a state-of-the-art manufacturing plant to meet growing demand and opening additional retail outlets over the next five years.
The company’s vision remains clear — to continue growing while creating more job opportunities and strengthening its role as a home-grown success story in the North West Province.
