Saturday, 5 December 2015 will see the formal launch of the Mogwase Farmers’ Market. The fresh produce market will run from 6am to 10am at the Mogwase Complex. All members of the public are invited to rise early and benefit from dew fresh produce directly from the farmers themselves.

The Mogwase Farmers’ Market is an initiative by READ – the North West Department of Rural, Environmental and Agricultural Development. The market has been established to support small holder farmers by creating a platform of local market opportunities where they could sell their fresh produce.
The partners involved in this project with READ include the Moses Kotane Local Municipality, NWDC, North West University and organised agriculture.
