As festive decorations adorn malls, shops, street corners and even our homes, we realise that 2019 will soon belong to the past.
It has been an exciting, memorable and historic year for South Africans. In May 2019 we went to the polls to exercise our democratic right of drawing our crosses and soon thereafter welcomed the Sixth Administration in office. October and November saw Mzansi glued to the edge of their seats before the Springboks and their inspirational captain Siya Kolisi rekindled our national pride by bringing home the Webb Ellis Cup as 2019 Rugby World Cup Champions. Congratulations Boks!
At the North West Development Corporation, the year also produced a list of highlights as we passionately continued our relentless journey of realising economic development and investment growth for the North West Province.
I wish all of NWDC group’s valued stakeholders – our clients, tenants, partners, board members and staff – a blessed and restful festive season. Be safe on the roads, at your holiday destinations and at home and spare a thought and a good deed for the desolate and less-fortunate during this time.
May you embrace the blessing and privilege of loved ones, family and friends as we celebrate Christmas and ring in a new year and a brand new decade with limitless possibilities.
