The NWDC recently held its golf day on the 1st of November at the Leopard Park Golf Club with, resounding success. Scrambleford Better ball was the format of the day and with over 80 players taking part, competition was rife and moods cheerful. With a slight breeze in the air and sufficient cloud cover, the day’s activities were greatly welcome for the keen golfing spirit. T-off time was at 11H00 sharp and the game was played using a shotgun start formation.
Prizes up for grabs included six full lambs, accommodation vouchers, printers, cash vouchers, discounted membership at the club and many more. Even the novice golfer stood a chance to win, with more than 15 players having won prizes in the luck draw.
None of this would have been possible without the participation and involvement of our generous stakeholders. These include: Protea Hotel Mafikeng, Konica Minolta, Standard Bank, PWC: BAUD, Smit Stanton Attorneys, Ink-Credible, Canon Mafikeng, Workforce Staffing, Pyramid Clothing and all individuals who participated. We are truly grateful for the support that you have shown and hope to build even longer lasting relationships in future.
