Productivity SA, the government’s pre-eminent custodian of productivity has bestowed productivity awards on three businesses in the North West Province. The awards are adjudged from three categories, Corporate, Emerging and Public sectors.
The winners were Chromeplat Industrial Corporation which won in the Corporate sector. In the emerging sector Dirang Mmogo Business Enterprise cc took the plaudits. And within the public Sector, the North West Development Corporation Pty (Ltd) walked away with the award.
Acting- CEO of Productivity South Africa, Mr. Bongani Coka, said his organisation was pleased to be hosting the regional awards in the North West Province for the first time. Mr. Coka said this year’s finalist attest to how important the North West Province is to the South African economy.
The national award were held at Gallegher Estate on Friday the 28th October 2011. The NWDC was a finalist but unfortunately did not win the award. We are however humbled by the experience and will continue to endevour to increse our productive capacity building within the province.
