The Department of Trade and Industry (the dti) invites you to apply to be part of an Agro Processing Outward Selling Mission to Mumbai and New Delhi in India. The trade mission is part of

the dti’s objective to create market access for South African Agro processed food products in the Indian market.

An invitation to apply is extended to South African firms and other exporters of Agro processed food products, in the following sub-sectors:

• Canned fruit and vegetables,
• Fresh & dried fruit and nuts
• Non-alcoholic beverages
• Dairy products
• Food additives and ingredients
• Frozen food products
• Sweets, confectionery and cereals
• Seafood products

Dates: 23 – 27 September 2013

Cities: Mumbai and New Delhi

The deadline date for the submission of complete EMIA Outward Selling Missions application forms is 02 August 2013.

Assistance is provided to qualifying South African exporters to introduce South African products into foreign markets, in a cost effective manner. the DTI will offer the following financial support to qualifying firms:

• Freight forwarding of product samples
• Economy class return airfare to a maximum of R13,000.00
• Daily subsistence allowance of R2,000.00 per day
• Business to business meetings for participants
