It gives me great pleasure to announce that Mr Mojalefa Nale has been appointed as Chief Executive Officer of the North West Development Corporation (SOC) Ltd on a five year fixed term contract as from the 1st of February 2014.

Mojalefa’s appointment by the NWDC Board of Directors follows the amalgamation process of the NWDC with Invest North West and the MIDZ, during which period an interim management with an Acting CEO oversaw operational activities.

Mojalefa brings with him passion, enthusiasm and a wealth of experience in both economic development and leadership. The NWDC Board has full faith in Mojalefa’s ability and conviction to lead the NWDC.

The Board also expresses its gratitude and appreciation towards Mr Boitumelo Tshwene who, in his capacity as Acting CEO, led a superb interim management team during the transition period.

We wish Mojalefa success in his new position, leading the NWDC to great heights during his tenure.
