NWDC WIN’S BRONZE IN THE PREMIER SERVICE EXCELLENCE AWARDS!

The NWDC walked away with Bronze in the Category “Best State Owned” Enterprise at the 5th Premier’s Public Service Excellence Awards held in Mmabatho on 11 December 2008.

NWDC’s first entry into the above awards had the staff and Acting CEO of NWDC sitting and waiting with abated breath for the announcements to take place. We were jubilant when our name was announced for Bronze. It was indeed a steep learning curve taking part in such a prestigious event and one can only improve with each year ahead, said Mike Mthimunye, Acting Chief Executive Officer for NWDC. Our staff are dedicated, knowledgeable and special people and that is how we managed to get this far on our first try. We will keep trying to improve on what we have achieved till date.
