Afri Cadecor Pty Ltd is a clothing company based in the small village of Klipgat in the Madibeng Local Municipality, North West Province.

Maria Sekaja Khambule founded the company in 2016, and it was officially registered in 2020.

When growing up, Maria would sit and watch her grandmother knitting and sewing. In doing so, she fell in love with her granny’s work. Maria soon discovered that she, too, had a passion for sewing, and later turned it into a business.

Despite working from her backroom, Maria offers a high-quality fashion brand that includes casual clothing, uniforms, traditional attire, bedding, and curtains. She has built a good relationship with local suppliers, solidifying her business’s good reputation.

Maria’s short-term goal is to see people wearing her own designed branded attire. Her long-term goal is to expand the geographical reach of her brand by opening branches across the North West Province and expanding into other countries.

Her quality and affordable prices make her business unique. Her target market consists of the community, schools, government agencies, and private companies.

“Our community plays a vital role in our success. Therefore, it is important that we do not forget them in their time of need,”, says Maria.
