Sethuismo is a proudly South African ceramic brand founded and owned by Mpho Moses Shabangu, a passionate artist and entrepreneur with a vision rooted in heritage, craftsmanship and creativity.

Established in 2024, the business produces handcrafted sculptural ceramic pots that reflect African designs, formations and firing techniques, capturing the essence of traditional African artistry in a modern and collectable form.

Inspired by ancient African aesthetics and cultural symbolism, Mpho’s work is more than decorative — each piece tells a story. His unique ceramic creations are shaped with care, showcasing both artistic flair and cultural identity.

Since its inception, Sethuismo has already gained notable exposure. The brand was featured at Decorex Johannesburg in 2024, Decorex Cape Town in 2025 and again at Decorex Africa 2025 held in Sandton— three of South Africa’s premier décor and design exhibitions.

These opportunities helped secure a valuable supplier relationship with Aafricaa Store, a milestone that signals significant growth potential for the brand.

Mpho envisions a future where Sethuismo grows into a recognised name in the South African creative sector.
His goals include opening branches across the North West and beyond, collaborating with art galleries, expanding into global shipping markets, and most importantly, creating employment for the youth through skills development and job creation.

With each handmade ceramic piece, Sethuismo represents more than craft — it symbolises resilience, innovation, and the beauty of African roots expressed through clay.
