The Mamusa Local Municipality, within the Dr Ruth Segomotsi Mompati District  in the North West province offers a number of investment opportunies.  The municipality comprises the towns Schweizer-Reneke and Amalia.

The types of economic activities include  agriculture, development of a mall, fuel stations, manufacturing and agri-processing.

Schweizer-Reneke has the potential to accommodate additional trade space between 2 000m2 and 15 000m2  over the next 15 to 20 years. Trade types include wholesale and retail trade, catering and accommodation as well as automotive trade.

There are three options offered by the municipality for land distribution, namely:  public private partnerships (PPP), leasing, or buying. The municipality invites formal letters of request accompanied by a formal proposal.
