Over half a million rand was pledged towards the Kgetsi ya Tsie Bursary Skills and Development Fund, during the first day of its launch.

The North West Development Corporation supports this noble provincial initiative.

During his state of the Province address on 6 March 2015, the Premier of Bokone Bophirima Province, Supra Obakeng Ramoeletsi Mahumapelo announced the intention of the Provincial Government to establish a provincial bursary fund to be known as Kgetsi-Ya-Tsie Education and Skills Development Fund.

The aim of the fund is to help hundreds of Bokone Bophirima students who struggle to pay their tertiary tuition fees, and assist in facilitating increased access to educational opportunities to the youth of Bokone Bophirima Province.

A massive capital injection and consistent contributions are therefore needed in order for the programme to realise its objectives.

NWDC appeals to all its stakeholders, clients, service providers and tenants to make a contribution as part of their corporate social responsibility programmes.  No donation will be regarded as too small.
