The dtic, in partnership with the NWDC, will host an African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) information-sharing workshop in Rustenburg on Tuesday, 18 July 2023.
North West companies who are active in or exploring the export market are invited to attend to be appraised on the benefits of exporting to the African continent under the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCTA.)
The African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) is the world’s largest free trade area.
Established on 30 May 2019, it brings together the 55 countries of the African Union (AU) and eight (8) Regional Economic Communities (RECs). The overall mandate of the AfCFTA is to create a single continental market with a population of about 1.3 billion people and a combined GDP of approximately US$ 3.4 trillion.
