On Friday, 12 June 2015, Deputy Minister of Economic Development, Mr Backson M Maseko and North West MEC for Economy and Enterprise Development, Ms Wendy Joy Nelson officially opened the first Enterprise Development Centre in the village of Madikwe.  The Enterprise Development Centre will be the first of a number to open across the North West province as part of a drive to rebrand, reposition and renew townships, villages and small dorpies across Bokone Bophirima.
