Exporters from the North West Province with products or services applicable to the Mining Sector are invited to apply with the NWDC to participate in the 2020 edition of the Investing in African Mining Indaba.

NWDC will be applying for a dti-funded SSAS* pavilion to exhibit at the Investing in African Mining Indaba, which takes place from 3-6 February 2020 in Cape Town. The Investing in African Mining Indaba is the world’s largest mining investment event.

For the year 2020, more exhibition space is being made available within the Investment Pavilion to allow for even more junior miners and investors to participate. The main stage will once again host CEOs, ministers and maybe even presidents. Industry experts from across the value chain will tackle topics including the industry’s role in addressing climate change and decarbonisation and sustainability measures for investment in the next decade.

NWDC will be applying to the dti for SSAS funding to exhibit at this event, which will cover the following costs for North West Province companies:

  • Return flights
  • The exhibition stand
  • Accommodation
  • Costs related to the freight of the products to the trade show

Please note that NWDC’s deadline to submit all exporter documentation to the dti, is Monday 28 October 2019.

Therefore, please apply with NWDC’s Trade and Investment office as soon as possible. Contact Poloko Maphula on polokom@nwdc.co.za or contact her on 014 594 2570.

There is a limit to the number of participates for this exhibition due to project fund allocation.
