The NWDC informs its stakeholders that the Shareholder, as per the NWDC Act, has appointed Mr Kenneth Konopi as the new Chairperson of the NWDC Board of Directors, effective 8 September 2021.

Mr Konopi is an existing board member who previously served as the Deputy Chairperson.

This follows after the NWDC’s Shareholder recalled Ms Monica Sentle as Chairperson of the Board of NWDC. Ms Sentle remains an ordinary member of the Board.

We would like to thank Ms Sentle for her contribution and execution of her duties as the Chairperson.

We further wish Mr Konopi well with his new responsibilities as the Chairperson of the Board and urge all staff members to support him in his new role.
