Rustenburg branch closure and relocation

The executive management of the NWDC would like to advise our valued stakeholders that we have taken the decision to close and relocate our Rustenburg branch of the NWDC that was previously located at 209 Beyers Naude Drive.

This decision emanates from a thorough review of the business and forms part of a cost-saving measure as well as cognisance of the IT infrastructure provided to staff which enables a hybrid work environment.

While, from 1 April 2022, new arrangements as detailed in this statement are in place, we would like to assure our clients that services will continue uninterrupted.

Clients wishing to secure face-to-face meetings with relevant NWDC officials, will, during this transition period, be accommodated at the NWDC’s Mogwase branch located in the Mogwase Shopping Complex. Clients, tenants and stakeholders are urged to pre-arrange these meetings with the relevant NWDC official.

The existing contact number for the NWDC Rustenburg Branch – 014 594 2570 – remains operational.

From the switchboard, callers will be transferred to relevant staff members’ cell phones for the provision of services and the scheduling of physical or virtual appointments. The general contact email address of info@nwdc.co.za remains in place.

The Covid environment demonstrated that a large office proves to be superfluous and costly, and hence the NWDC is embarking on a modern, hybrid approach.

It is reiterated that the full office closure is a temporary measure as the NWDC will, in the coming months, introduce a streamlined client contact hub in Rustenburg. As developments unfold, the NWDC will ensure that our valued stakeholders remain informed.
