NWDC markets the province to Foreign Economic Representatives prior to their international postings.

The NWDC hosted an investment opportunities workshop on 15 July 2026 at the ANEW Hunters Rest venue in Rustenburg. The event brought together approximately 20 Foreign Economic Representatives and project leaders from the Department of Trade, Investment and Competition (dtic) to expose them to provincial trade and investment initiatives.
